been playing since i was 6 years old, on cornet, moved onto horn at age of 11. Started contesting career with carlton on 2nd horn, within 6 months had successive promotions to solo horn. left carlton as a result of joining ISB on first horn. also play for birmingham and sheffield citadel bands
